George Dorn Screams is definitely the band for late evening. This music is full of sincerity, calm and melancholy. George Dorn Screams is also an energy from the border between post rock and slowcore. After their debut album called "Snow Lovers Are Dancing" they are forerunners of Serpentine Rock (said Piotr Kosinski from Polish Radio 3rd Programme). "Mazzy Star meets Joy Division"
The history of the band started a couple of years ago. Three friends - Tomek Popowski, Wojtek Trempala and Radek Maciejewski, have played a lot already, but it took them some time to find the right track to go through music. They define themselves after a hard work and gathering of proper experience. Undoubtedly, Magda Powalisz had helped them in so they took her to the band. The music of the group is starting to have a right shape and its creators eagerly work on a new and fresh material. "Their songs develop like a streamer", balancing between energy, peace and melancholy that put it together on pulsing and trance integrity. The first concert took place in legendary Mózg Club - 13th December 2005 with friends from bands Sora and Miasto. Months passed by on hard work. Finally, they decided to record a longplay. In April-May they went to Szubin to ElectricEye Studio to create a well-thought work. In the meantime they have appeared on "Songs from Bydgoszcz" recorded in Mózg for the City Hall with other bands such as: Variete, 3moonboys, Ecstasy Project Trio, Dubska, Dezire, Upside Down and many others. Their debut song, "The woman with a bow", gathered flattering reviews. Both musicians and the fans of GDS cannot wait to hear the full material of the group. Debut album is called "Snow Lovers are Dancing" and appear on the 6th October 2006 edited by 3moonboys Presents. In autumn band went on their first tour during which one of the most important points is PIK Radio live performance. Their album received very good reviews in press and radio stations. Famous journalists in Poland regards “Snow Lovers Are Dancing” as one of the best debut in 2006. Piotr Kosinski from Third programme of Polish Radio said that the first album of George Dorn Screams is one of the best albums of the year 2006 in Poland.
2007 is the year of big tours in Poland, festivals and first concerts on abroad. All with new material. On October George Dorn Screams, cooperates with Eska Rock Radio, organize festival of alternative music in Bydgoszcz, the biggest rock festival in their city. Finally, winter of 2007/2008 - after LOW FI FESTIVAL, it's the best time for new album of the group.
George Dorn Screams来自波兰，疏冷的女声，加舒心的旋律，模拟电子信号与原始的吉他速配成了所谓的现代纯朴，吉他和弦是源自英式摇滚的奏法，作为东欧国家的乐队，他们俨然已经抓住了英式摇滚的灵魂。
