Woody Allen reports that he chose the music based on "his instincts about what would work in the film."Capturing the playful spirit of the film, the soundtrack's lush orchestrations and quick tempo complement the mysterious motif of the story. Scoop tells the story of Sondra Pransky (Scarlett Johansson), a student journalist for a college paper visiting friends in London who happens upon the scoop of a lifetime. Along the investigative trail, she finds magic, murder, mystery -- and perhaps love, with British aristocrat Peter Lyman (Hugh Jackman).
