The famous Greek soprano Sonia Theodoridou has appeared and triumphed in all the big opera houses of the world, with conductors like Claudio Abbado, René Jacobs, and Antonio Pappano. But all those years, she also longed to sing different kinds of music like folk, jazz, fado, and chansons. It was only during a very long and serious illness that she realized there was no time to be lost. Five years' absence from the opera stage was difficult, but gave her the opportunity to study a series of different styles.
