This definitely sounds like coffeehouse music, a very relaxed vibe, and though its bland at times it never gets too bland if you know what I mean. In other words its just pleasant, but not so overly pleasant that its boring.
A lot of the standouts are the less hip hoppy parts. Vibin starts out like a jazz song, and keeps that vibe throughout the whole song. The Shift Change has a really nice instrumental acoustic guitar part and some cool singing. Nothing else stands out on first listen but thats not even really the point of an album like this. After a long stressful day at work, or nursing a bad hangover, this would be the perfect album to come home and put on, maybe take a nice hot bath. Damn that sounds good right now.
