　　With releases on Sportclub, H?rspielmusick and the venerable Force Tracks imprint, Brian Cares has established a rather impressive resumé. Now calling Berlin’s Bar 25 home, Cares is set to drop his debut long player, Fingerprints, in February. This little platter is something of a teaser for the album to come, but it’s a killer release in itself. Showcasing remixes and edits of tracks culled from the upcoming full-length, the EP kicks off with MyMy’s remix of “Say Say,” the album’s lead single. Their inimitable style is on full display here, gilding a taut House framework with splintered vocal samples and guitar loops, but for my money, “Hey DJ!”—with its tongue in cheek indictment of track-spotters and drunks, all set to a clean minimal backbeat—is going to get the best reaction.
