Credited to George Clinton Parliament Funkadelic, The Mothership Connection (Live from the Summit, Houston, Texas) is a discount-priced, six-track mini-LP consisting of one side devoted to a 24-minute soundtrack to a video of the same name, backed with three previously released Clinton studio tracks. A sprawling, often impressive concert recording featuring the immense Mothership Connection organization under George Clinton's reign. This set was perhaps the only time any album conveyed the sense of spectacle, chaos, wild humor, and musical mayhem that were routinely on display during their live shows.
