UK compilation for the late reggae legend who worked with other pioneers such as King Tubby & Bunny 'Striker' Lee to invent the whole dub music genre. A unique instrumentalist particularly on the melodica & flute, he contributed to a new wave of reggae which was a key influence on his peers & a lot of punk artists like the Clash & John Lyndon. The creator of the classic album 'King Tubby Meets Rockers Uptown' is universally acknowledged as one of reggae's key albums. This thirty track set includes both classic tracks & material from the last album, released just before his untimely death in 1999.
