Providence noise bashers Lightning Bolt have been staging brain-melting live shows pretty regularly for years now, but they haven't dropped an album since 2005's Hypermagic Mountain. That won't be the case much longer.
As the band just announced on their MySpace page, they're all set to drop another slab of pummelling heaviness on us. Moshers will have even more ridiculously fast changes to contend with! This is good news.
Earthly Delights, the new one, is due November 13 from Load, and as the band themselves say, it's "destined to be leaked onto the internet by......hmmm. take a guess, maybe august 31? early september? you tell me." The album will be available on CD and digital download, but the real heads will probably want to go for the gatefold triple-sided vinyl.
