The Gregorian song has been alive for more than a thousand years. It is the traditional liturgical song of the Roman Catholic Church. The songs of the mass included in this disc, belong to the nocturnal liturgy: the celebration mid-night mass for Christmas, preceded by a vigil that took place the eve. Their songs, taken from the prophecies of the Old Testament and from the premonitions of the Sibyl, are loaded with symbolisms on the Messiah's coming.
