2 CD set. Saracen are one of the most interesting bands to come out from the NWOBHM. Many did not really care about them since their sound was not so close to the most popular realities of the period like: Iron Maiden, Raven, Angel Witch, Holocaust, Saxon or Def Leppard. Sarance sound was indeed closer to Symphonic Hard Rock. The most interesting release from the band was their debut album Heroes Saints & Fools, originally released in 1981, which entered the British charts top 50 in 1981. The group then disbanded in 1985 after the release of their 2nd album. Change Of Heart. 20 years later the group reunited and released independently the Red Sky album in 2003. Digipak. Escape. 2006.
