Anime Fire is a brooding combination of hardcore and electronica, citing such influences as Refused, DJ Shadow, Parkway Drive, Prodigy, Thrice, Aphex Twin and In Flames. Their debut 6 track EP "Where The Wolves Fear To Tread" delivers a new interpretation of melodic hardcore, when fused with modern metal and break beat electronica to create something all to their own. This is an act that is not afraid to push the boundaries both in the studio and with their live show. In the short time since the bands creation, Anime Fire have already shared the stage with a number of International and National acts in Perth including at the 2006 Taste Of Chaos Festival alongside the likes of: Taking Back Sunday, Senses Fail, Thursday, Saosin, Anti-Flag, Underoath and Parkway Drive, plus additional tour supports for I Killed The Prom Queen, Silverstein, The Unseen, From Autumn To Ashes, The Bled, Darkest Hour, Mindsnare, Miles Away and Psycroptic.
