Stefan Murphy a.k.a. The Mighty Stef is a Dublin based musician and singer-songwriter. He was the original singer of Dublin punk/pop, The Suntonics and has supported bands such as Republic of Loose, Flogging Molly, John Squire and Alice Cooper to name but a few.
In 2006, during a tour in the United States, he was mugged after a show which included his passport, video camera, guitar, an undisclosed large sum of cash and other personal items leaving him almost stranded. Fortunately, with the help of a benefit concert in Dublin, organised by Radiator, he was able to raise the cash to come home and continue his music career.
