The debut of EP DJ trio Nubian Lady -- who delivery a couple of cosmic sides here steeped long and lovingly in 70s soul jazz atmosphere and timeless, spacey club grooves! "Pink Bomber" is the best a nice tune that starts out as feels a bit like a club groove take on Latin soul, but it evolves along the way -- with the beat taking in more of an Afro funk inspiration as it progresses -- eventually growing in to a busier synthy jam. The b-side "In Flu Enza" is a winning number that also appears on the Jazzy Sport "Pound For Pound 2" compilation -- a langorous cosmic club tune with a lots of keyboard and synth atmospherics over a bed of beats and an insistent bass groove.
