Steve Grossman met Harold Land in 1992, when Steve was in his 40's and Harold, in his 60's. The pair hit it off and just as life imitates art, both their friendship and music really complimented one another; Grossman's tone is powerful and massive, contrasting to Lang's thinner and more fragile.
