Saint Etienne is a British pop/rock band led by songwriters Bob Stanley and Pete Wiggs, and fronted by vocalist Sarah Cracknell. Since the group's original inception in the early '90s, they've racked up a string of indie hit singles that were driven by deep club beats – encompassing anything from house and techno to Hip Hop and disco, including 1990’s hit "Only Love Can Break Your Heart," and their summer smash "Nothing Can Stop Us" in the following year.
The Trip created by Saint Etienne includes records from their DJ bags over the last decade – Chicago soul, TV show themes, rare psychedelia, and continental odds and ends – with a second CD of atmospheric magic.
Taking you through the musical journey of their lives, previous The Trip albums created by Dirty Vegas, Tom Middleton, and most recently Tim ‘Love’ Lee have delighted music fans everywhere.
