Joe Sample is known above all as a founding member, pianist, keyboardist, and composer of legendary funk jazz band The Crusaders. Features special guest Charmaine Neville, of the famous Neville Brothers clan. Includes pop/soul star Ray Parker Jr., known for the title song in the film Ghostbusters (1984), and Chris Severin, known from his work on Dianne Reeves' albums. Raymond Weber was a member of Harry Connick Jr.'s Big Band and can be seen onscreen in the film Ray. Lenny Castro has worked with greats such as Al Jarreau, Stevie Wonder, Barbra Streisand, Ricky Lee Jones, Diana Ross, and Quincy Jones.
