Martino Tirimo has been an international soloist for 35 years and his recordings of Debussy, Schubert and others are legendary. He received a Gold Disc in 1995 for his best-selling recordings of Rachmaninov’s Second Concerto and Paganini Rhapsody. In 1999 he composed the film score for The Odyssey, which was screened in eight episodes on Channel 4 and other European TV channels. He celebrated the year 2000 with four series devoted to Beethoven's 32 Piano Sonatas, including one at St. John's Smith Square in London.
