Bill Wyman secured Tucky Buzzard a deal with US Capitol, for whom they recorded their first 2 albums, Tucky Buzzard (1971) and the evocatively titled Warm Slash (1972 - its name inspired by a back cover photo of Bill Wyman having a well, you guess). Both are nowadays highly sought after artifacts among Stones' collectors, notably the former, as it features guest appearances from Mick Taylor, Bobby Keys and Jim Price. It pitched the band midway between the more pastoral, psychedelic sound of yore and the newly-emerging, heavier, prog-rock style. A 3rd album, the experimental Coming On Again - which featured the Madrid Philharmonic Orchestra on several tracks - was recorded in 1972. Something of a "great lost collectors' album", it has been heavily bootlegged over the years. All three albums are included here on this 2 Disc set in their entirety. Castle. 2005.
