2008 digitally remastered release, a collection of early recordings by the Country diva. Country-Pop superstar Shania Twain is already known to millions but there is an earlier chapter to her recorded work that did not take place in Nashville. This is the much publicized collection of Rock demos that Shania recorded back in 1989 and 1990 with Hard Rock veteran Paul Sabu. Paul's late '80's metal band, Only Child, actually provides the backing for Shania Twain on these recordings. All but five of the songs were co-written by Sabu and Twain. The tracks range in style from Pure Pop, to AOR, to even some borderline Hard Rock. There is also one full on Dance Pop track, 'For The Love Of Him,' which also appears a second time on the album in a dance mix version. On this album, Shania sounds absolutely incredible and you can really tell just what a fantastic voice she has. Store For Music.
