Originally released in 1994, Café Del mar set the standard as the first ever ‘chill out’ compilation, not to mention the first ever Ibiza compilation; spawning hundreds of copycat albums. Originally released before the mass marketed commercialism that Ibiza is known for now, Cafe del Mar 1, 2 and 3 encapsulates the mythical sunset experience.
Compiler and then resident Jose Padilla brings together classic full length, unmixed tracks from artists such as Underworld, Sabres of Paradise, A Man Called Adam, William Orbit, and Nightmares on Wax.
These new editions of Café Del Mar retain the original artwork, but are presented in a deluxe slipcase.
