Now available on vinyl. You probably wouldn’t necessarily have Isis down as a ’singles’ sort of band, but this release of ‘Holy Tears’ features not only the original studio recording of the song, but an additional live performance (at the Continental Airlines Arena in New Jersey) the Dominic Hailstone (of Warp Films, apparently) directed video and best of all a remix of ‘Not In Rivers, But In Drops’ as reworked by a tag team of The Melvins and Lustmord. The end result is predictably gloomy, and predictably excellent. Recommended.
