The Peth (Welsh for The Thing) is SFA's drummer, Dafydd Ieuan, side project with along Welsh actor Rhys Ifans, who is their main singer.
Most of the songs are rocking numbers that remind me of the SFA Fuzzy Logic/Radiator era's more rocking songs. It's not to say that there aren't traces of Rings Around the World/Phantom Power trippy effects - fuzzy guitars, electronics rising and falling, and the SFA west coast harmonies sprinkled throughout.
