AGENT PROVOCATEUR, the ultra-sexy lingerie company set-up by Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren's son Joe Corré and wife Serena Rees, is celebrating its tenth year of saucy-underwear sales by producing a CD – appropriately enough entitled Peep Show. Written and produced by Corré and musician Luca Mainardi, the majority of the thirteen tracks on the album are performed by unknown singers, discovered via a search for vocal talent among London's strip club performers. Guest vocalist Siobhan Fahey (Bananarama, Shakespear's Sister), contributes with a cover of Joy Division's She's Lost Control. With tracks including Oooh aaah, Star Stripper (to which we are assured "the ultimate striptease" can be performed) and Bikini it's small wonder that Agent Provocateur promises that the album will "stimulate, enchant and arouse" the listener just as the company's other better-known products have for the past decade. In a stroke of marketing genius, the CD will be available in all good record stores from February 9 – just in time for Valentine's fun.
