Of Iranian extraction but brought up in London, the name of Leila Arab has made its mark in the area of the most imaginative electronica every time she has shown her face. Seven years after her second album, she returns to the international arena with “Blood, Looms and Blooms”, released soon on Warp. It is a carefully thought out LP, which is surprising and has a unique personality, with the backing and participation of Terry Hall, legendary singer with The Specials, and Martina Topley Bird, also known for her work with Tricky.
