Harry Gregson-William（哈里·格雷森-威廉姆斯）出生于对音乐抱有严谨态度的英国，虽然自小就做为剑桥合唱团的一员巡演于世界各国，但直至从伦敦的吉尔德侯音乐与戏剧学校毕业后，加入由Stanley Myers指挥的交响乐团才得以碰到了对他成名有着莫大影响的配乐人Hans Zimmer（汉斯季默），并于1996年加入了季默的Media Ventures工作室，同年和季默合作为电影The Rock《石破天惊》创作出了大受好评的原声配乐，在2001年凭着为电影Shrek《怪物史瑞克》的配乐获得美国动画片大奖“安妮奖”最佳电影音乐奖，同时也获得英国影艺学院奖的提名。96年哈里·格雷森开始和季默合作或独立配乐至今共有34部原声作品，其中多部作品得到大家的肯定：《断箭》、《国家公敌》、《埃及王子》、《蚁哥正传》、《替身杀手》、《世界末日》、《BJ单身日记2》、《怪物史瑞克2》等。在这张《王者天下》后面哈里·格雷森又创作了《多米诺》、《纳尼亚传奇：狮子、女巫、魔衣橱》和2006年最新的《八月迷情》。
