The legendary Dinu Lipatti, who died at the age of 33 in 1950, was one of the 20th century's greatest pianists. This CD presents previously unreleased live performances of the Chopin solo pieces that Lipatti performed in Zurich and, for the first time on CD, the rare and forgotten studio recording of the Waltz Op. 34 No. 1 from 1947 (London). These are also the best transfers (remasterings) available of these two concertos.
