Kaori Muraji, a star in her native Japan, performs some of the world's best-loved guitar music by Rodrigo in this new recording.
She performs Rodrigo's most famous work, the Concierto de Aranjuez, alongside his final concerto - the sparkling Concierto para un Fiesta, regarded as one of the most difficult works in the repertoire.
This disc also includes the beautiful Sones en la Giralda, originally written for the harp, which is Rodrigo's celebration of the exquisite bell tower in the city of Seville.
