Maybe the Musical past of the actress Mrs. Covington is quite embarrassing - she played in 1972 in Godspell, then 1978 in War of the Worlds -- Beth in Jeff Wayne's album musical of H G Wells' classic story, and then came her appearance in the first version of "Evita" where she gvave life to the role of Evita Perón; "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" was in 1978 the No.1 hit single from Evita. After this, she recorded with The Albion Band, and was most known for her convincing playing in Ascendancy (1982), a movie about the north irish conflict which earned her 1983 the Goldener B?r - prize at the International Film Festival in Berlin.
And then came the time of being more and more forgotten, kind of a one hit wonder as she did not provide the vultures of the public opinion with sexy scandals, new recorded material...
