The album ECHO, introduces us to live recordings, guest vocalists and more than 50 guest musicians. Combined with the music composition and personal style of Niko Patrelakis it delivers a unique music project.
　　It can be filed under the title nu jazz electronica, but sound diversity and mood variations make any categorization a limiting attempt. Illustrating the point are such examples as: Arco Iris, an electro bossa nova sung by Miranda Verouli (already gaining significant air time on Greek radio), Shortcut, a pop electro song interpreted by K. Bhta, one of Niko's favorite artists, Voyage featuring Louis Bozon, the French radio veteran recorded in Paris and the ERT symphony Orchestra recorded in Athens. The track Echo as in the album title, is dedicated to years of clubbing and dancefloors, where we danced, met and fell in love - Press response has being positive to the extent of describing Echo as: (perfect, dreamlike, full of sound miracles, a great modern work) indicating the one certain thing we can expect from the new album of Nikko Patrelakis, is that it will deliver music enjoyment.
