Dermot O'Leary has been presenting his Saturday afternoon show on Radio 2 for nearly 3 years and Dermot was the first DJ to play and/or feature numerous artists that will be featured on the album. Dermots profile is going from strength to strength, not only does he herald a credible position in the music world, he also has an enormous TV profile that is ever growing. Dermot established his career with the hugely successful T4 for Channel 4 and is most recently known for his presenting of Big Brothers Little Brother for E4 & C4 and in the Autumn he will be hosing X Factor for ITV1. With a very busy schedule and high profile promised it is the perfect time to launch this album into the market. All of the recordings are unique live recordings taken from the R2 show and they consist of a diverse range of artists and repertoire with artists performing some of their own works combined with a number of covers. It is comparable to releases such as R1's Live Lounge and will appeal to a broad audience, encompassing Dermots R2 core listeners and his broader ITV type appeal. It's a very exciting new album that Dermot will be fully supporting himself with promo across all media platforms and is destined for great things due to the nature of the original material.
