Definetely one of the highlights of Badly Drawn Boy's album, it could possibly be the most populist too. But this isn't to detract from Damon Gough's songwriting by calling him contrived, the song is 'Pop Music', but not in the modern sense - cheesy, cyber rhythms backed up by manipulated vocals. No, it's more like the classic sort of pop music, the way The Beatles or The Beach Boys used their medium to show off the power of music. Sure, the lyric can be seen as inane, but the buoyant rhythm guitar and the boistrous chorus is sheer genius and a joy to listen to.
