Pistol (real name Leroy Gordon) is a gangsta rapper from Nashville, Tennessee. He is the first rapper from Nashville to make an impact on the music industry. His rise to the forefront on the Nashville hip-hop scene began on the streets of the Preston-Taylor projects. He honed his rhyme skills by rapping at talent shows, on the playground and around the hood.
In 1994, he signed a major deal with Eazy-E’s Ruthless Records and released his debut album Hittin’ Like A Bullet. The album was produced by Gary Hayden, Kevin Grisham, Mike G, and Sonny Paradise.
