This collection, handpicked by co-creator Andrew Weatherall, serves as the first in a series of reissues highlighting the classic yet sadly long out-of-print releases on Emissions Audio Output. This edition focuses on releases by the influential Two Lone Swordsmen, with tracks taken from the landmark Fifth and Tenth Missions, Swimming Not Skimming, and Stockwell Steppas. But this compilation is not just one for the collector--these sessions produced the backbone of a sound developed on the flightpath estate and later forged in a room above a Chiswick dry cleaners and in an east London basement. Two Lone Swordsmen is due to release its latest album soon, and Rotters Golf Club chairman Andrew Weatherall has issued his debut solo EP to coincide with this set. Yet, he still finds time to gig across the world while fellow Swordsman Keith Tenniswood finishes up another round of future-electro classics under his illustrious Radioactive Man moniker.
