The third installment of this classic series that highlights the latest crop of bands from around the world all fighting for recognition! Each band deliver two of their most powerful tracks. First up is 96 Tsu Bu No Namida, which translates to `96 Tears'. This band are from outta Japan and are stuck in a Timewarp. Two amazing garage punkers that could of come straight out of Bedrock! Next up is another amazing band from the land of the rising sun, The Freaque. They have already played in the UK at one of Alan McGee's nights and went down a storm. The first track by them has already been picked up by a film company in Japan. Oh my god, here come the yellow peril of Newcastle's Janorak! Mixing some damned find futuristic lyrics along with some mighty fine Devo-tistic imagery. Leaving the UK for a while, we now delivery one of the two bands featured here from Austria. Out of the ashes of `The Jaybirds', we bring you the Music Department. Two fine Heavy Psych tracks that will leave you worn-out and gasping for air. Next up is a new band called Sawdust Of Caesars. Hailing from the Bromley area, this smartly dressed crew play some neat '60s beat. Now back to Austria for the second lot that has grown from the break-up of the Jaybirds, The Subcandies. Swivel are next up from outta Bognor Regis. Two perfect in yer face tracks with no holds barred! Germany's The Monocaines give us two organ driven danceable gems that any dance floor would welcome. Last up is the new group on the scene, The Q from Gloucestershire are one hell of a band to watch out for. Very catchy and could of given the Paul Weller a run for his money if this band were around back in the heyday of `79!. Detour. 2006.
