尺八(Shakuhachi)是中國唐宋朝時傳入日本的竹簫樂器，通常取用竹子的根部，在台灣通稱為洞簫。其音色低沈渾厚，感性傳情，在緩慢旋律中能牽引內心的平靜。
Riley Lee 生於美國，於1971年訪日，初識後即愛上尺八，就留下來苦學了七年，1980年獲頒了日本第一位外國人身分的尺八大師(daishihan)的地位。
聽大師的簫聲有如置身於寧靜淡泊的竹林裡，細聽山間流泉的汩汩淙淙。又有如漫遊在花果茂盛的秘密花園裡，享受方寸之中的那一份氣定神閒，完全是馬鳴菩薩所著「佛所行讚」裡的詩文所曰：「藍毗尼勝園，流泉花果茂，寂靜順禪思，啟王請游彼」的意境。
本專輯含兩張CD，一為獨奏，另一為二重奏。
