One of the finest concerts from Roland Kirk’s celebrated discography, this concert captures the excitement of the extraordinary multi-instrumentalist’s live performances. Kirk is obviously inspired here by the participation of the great Catalan pianist Tete Montoliu and by the sympathetic audience which included none other than the legendary saxophonist John Coltrane! The original CD release of the Copenhagen concert contained only 6 tracks while later 10 more tracks from the concert were recovered and released on a 10-CD Box Set that is now out of print.
