Following the release of the album Patent Pending, Almond travelled to the USA as part of John Mayall's band gaining acclaim at the 1969 Newport Jazz festival. This album was recorded in LA in 1970 with highly respected Jazz musicians. A splendid mix of Jazz, Funk and Blues, the album is a milestone in British music. Esoteric.
