A wonderful collection of keyboard sonatas by Domenico Scarlatti performed on period instruments, many of which are the actual instruments for which the pieces were written and performed on in the eighteenth century. While it is unusual to hear these pieces on organ and fortepiano, modern research shows they were intended for just these instruments.
