Originating from the northern climbs of Scotland, Cheer (aka Alec Cheer) has been recording steadily since his early teens. After moving to Glasgow and being involved in various bands for about 6 years, he is now concentrating on his own output, coming to fruition with a release ‘Three Parts’ on the canada label Worthy Records earlier this year. Using what he has around him to sum up a time or mood, his music changes depending on his surroundings, ranging from Guitar pieces to more abstarct found sound work.
