Starting as a pure underground grindcore band, Enemy Soil gained, with years passing by, a true cult act of the genre before disbanding in the late nineties. “Smash the state” is a double-CD compilation featuring their comple discography (with the exception of the “Casualties of progress” EP) as well as detailed liner notes from Richard Johnson recalling the band’s career.
And, if you’re too young to know Enemy Soil, just a little reminder: after splitting up, Enemy Soil members created cult acts such as Agoraphobic Nosebleed and Pig Destroyer… got it?
