This appears to be a re-release of the 2007 album The Architecture of Oppression with a different title, different track list order and new versions of the songs. All songs have been re-mastered and mixed by Dan Swan? for those interested.
I have not heard the 2007 release, but I can tell you Decoding the Mainframe is a very good melodic black metal release. Often speedy with changeable tempos, technical at times, nice black metal keys, awesome guitar work, very noticeable and nice drumming and very good vocals describe what you will hear. I can't imagine fans of melodic black metal would not enjoy Decoding the Mainframe and the very good guitar work on display.
