Summer's long gone and all those fashionable minimal deep house records already got buried under a thick layer of rotten leaves. Decomposition is in full effect and with a little bit of luck next summer's sound will be a bit more entertainig. The 62nd edition of the Speicher series is dedicated to the more abysmal side of techno. Hailing from New York City, MOTOR drop an ice cold killer track that's gonna perfectly replace any air conditioning or co2 canon. Gosh, this is mental. Not as over the top as many of their Novamute releases but slick, modern and intense. Alex Millan & Lorent Air dwell in the pittoresque city of Montpellier. Alex is resident at the legendary VILLA ROUGE and earned himself an excellent reputation as a DJ there. Superficially, "Ironik" sounds like a generic post-Border Community trancer but that's deceiving. At the latest when these otherworldly vocal kick in the glam level increases considerably. Think something between The MFA's The Difference and Oxia's Domino and you get a feeling of what you're dealing with.
