Last December, Sacramento’s Bueno dropped his third solo album, “Can’t Knock The Hustle”. I had not heard of Bueno until last year, but a nice mainstream friendly single, several solid music videos, and having this album come out through SMC caught my attention.
Pros: Top notch production, above average flow/rhymes, not too many features, mainstream friendly but better than most mainstream rap albums in 2009, the bass on Fuck Goin’ Broke, the first verse on Unstoppable, the hook and beat on Can’t Knock The Hustle.
Cons: Content is too materialistic for me, tracks 7-9.
This is great sounding album with only a couple of tracks I skip. The content could use more variety, but if you like lyrics about hustling and shining you will probably love this album.
