专辑简介

Fighter X's 2nd full length, produced by Nickolas and his trusty Electribe. With Nickolas' techniques in groovbox wizardry increasing, PDSOMBNC brings fast, detailed, melodic, and sugary 8-bit goodness to the table while still upholding Fighter X's classic breakcore roots.
  艺人简介:
Hatched from an egg in Everett Washington under an old rotted pinewood bridge, baby Nickolas was taken under and raised by a gang of trolls until he was reunited with his robot father at the age of four. Two years later Nickolas A. Walthew slowly picked up on the electronic music scene after experiencing the sensational melodies that came from Japanese game developer/music producer Yuzo Koshiro, who wrote not only the music for the Streets Of Rage trilogy, but the classic Shinobi games along with many other titles. It wasn't until 2004 that little 15 year old Nickolas stumbled upon a well known soft-sequencer titled Fruity Loops Studio 5. He had found his true love producing electronic music.
Nickolas sat at his old Windows Millenium desktop for hours upon hours making beats that were heavily inspired by such artists as Robot Kid, Inter:sect, Symbion Project, The Prodigy and The Crystal Method, while blowing away other things like an education, friends, family, and most importantly...food. Nickolas is a skinny skinny man due to his non-stop music writing and avid video game playing. Under the FL Studio producing alias '_Nickolas', he created a decent number of tracks but never unleashed them outside his hometown of Everett, nor did he play a single show as _Nickolas. The electronic music scene was dead in Everett, but Nickolas was eager to turn it all around somehow.
It wasn't until December 2005 that Nickolas bought his big blue weapon, the Electribe MX-1, and met Thomas "Mac" Dobbins in high school where they shared their affection for all music that's bad-ass. Nickolas and Mac joined forces to not only create the greatest superhero of all time in a one-page comic (un-finished to this day), they also formed the greatest electronic duo ever to touch Everett soil: Fighter X. With Nickolas' groovebox smarts and Mac's keyboard magic they created and let loose the 2006 self titled debut album upon the world. It debuted #1 on nothing and has sold over 50 copies to date. Nickolas and Mac's lives had been changed in one crack of a Venetian snare.
From rags to riches Fighter X sipped on Chateau Haut-Batailley and scarfed nothing but over-priced french foods in the sunny Carribeans. However Mac's money infested big booty bitches FX days were short lived. Nickolas being the dominant half of the electronic duo was forced by an unknown entity to banish Mac from Fighter X forever. Mac Dobbins left Fighter X never to return, but later started TEETHANDFEET and is now known as the solo artist, Sphyramid. Good for him!
Now Fighter X, the lone warrior Nickolas, travels across the Pacific Northwest vomiting amen breaks, screaming square waves, punching out gabber kicks (literally sort of), and spreading the word of breakcore/chiptune to whoever listens. Fighter X doesn't plan on quiting anytime soon and just may never ever quit at all. Shake ya gabber fist son!
