This exquisitely-crafted debut collaboration of acclaimed singer/songwriter Lisbeth Scott and eclectic percussionist Greg Ellis weaves a layered soundscape of richly atmospheric songs, ranging from poignantly moving to radiantly serene. The album exudes an epic, cinematic quality - since both artists are ubiquitous contributors in major film music; Ellis' work has shaped the sound of the Matrix series, Fight Club, and 300, among others, while Scott's includes, Shrek, The Passion of the Christ, Spielberg's Munich and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe and Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. The multi-talented Greg Ellis, who has worked with Beck, Billy Idol, and the Grateful Dead's Mickey Hart is best-known for co-founding the world music ensemble Vas with singer Azam Ali. Lisbeth Scott has worked with artists as diverse as INXS, John Prine, Mark Isham, and composer John Williams -- who wrote a solo expressly for her in the Munich soundtrack.
