Will Dailey is a Boston area singer-songwriter. He is notable as being the winner of the 2006 Boston Music Award for Best Male Singer-Songwriter. He is also a CBS Recording artist and has recorded albums with Wheelkick Records and JS Music Group. Dailey has released three full-length albums since 2004, and his most recent project, Torrent, involves the artist digitally releasing a burst of new music approximately every 3 months, and then compiling that material, along with bonus material, as a physical and digital audio package twice a year.
Torrent is Will Dailey's adventurous project of multiple music volumes scheduled throughout 2009 and 2010 that is already featuring luminaries such as Roger McGuinn, Kay Hanley and Elliot Easton (The Cars) and has been blessed by Grammy Award winning producer T Bone Burnett. Instead of continuing on the common artist's cycle of releasing a new album every two years or so, Dailey is releasing a burst of new music ever 3-4 months, enabling fans to join Will as he continues forth on his musical journey. Torrent, Volumes 1 & 2 combines the first two EPs in the series - Fashion Of Distraction and By The Blue Hills, as well as two bonus tracks -- bringing his audience up to date with his complete musical output for the first half of this year
