The Soda Pop Kids have been making quite a name for themselves in recent years. Formerly the charismatic Kill City Thrillers, this fun-lovin' bunch of riff-raff relocated to Portland, hooked up with former Riffs frontman Tony Mengis & The Weakling's Stevie Kix, and were reborn as The Soda Pop Kids. SPK seamlessly combine the guitar pop of the New York Dolls, the snotty punk edge of The Stooges and the infectious R&B rhythms of Chuck Berry.
