This is a best of album of trumpet player Freddie Hubbard, released in 1980 on Columbia Records featuring material from his stint with that label, covering a wide range of material from straight ahead to jazz funk.
Sad to report the death of Freddie Hubbard, he died Dec 29th 2008 at the age of 70 from a heart attack. One of my visitors asked to pay some tribute to him, so I would like to post this best of album from 1980. Freddie Hubbard was my all-time favorite trumpet player and he will be sorely missed.
