Teddy Lasry
Born Nice, France 1947. Lives and works in Paris. Studied classical clarinet and composition, often participating in his father's "Structures Sonores" (Crystal Beschet). Multi-instrumentalist, composer, and arranger, he co-founded the iconic prog-rock band "Magma" in the late sixties. In the seventies he began composing prolifically for television and commercials. He is a leading exponent of "Jewish swing", coming back to his roots, as he says, like coming across a forgotten house from one's childhood. He composed the music for the films of Falkenau, based on Sam Fuller's footage of the liberation of the concentration camps.
Laurent Caillon
Born 1950, Neuilly-sur-Seine, Paris. Masters' in Philosophy. Diploma in Music from l'Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris. He works principally in the theatre, directing and composing music. Often collaborating with Teddy Lasry with whom he co-composed the "Deserts" album for Cézame CEZ 4037/38 on which he also plays cello.
