Breathless is a good blend of the traditional and contemporary. The songs are based on classical ragas and also a lot of folk music from various parts of India. In both versions of 'Breathless', the rise and fall of Shankar's voice is a treat to hear. The second, sad version, titled The Reprise is simply superb.
